Pulling the bumpers from a 280Z is one of the
first
easy steps towards better handling and acceleration.
The impact bumpers and shock absorbers easily
weigh several hundred pounds. I just filled in
the
mounting holes, and painted them to match the
car.
It gives the car a "Cobra" type of look.
It evens out the proportions too.
The bumpers make the car stick out too far in
the front and rear.
With them removed, the car looks more rounded
and symmetrical.
