This page is for fellow 928
owners and prospective owners
who are interested in getting some information about these cars. My links at the bottom of this page are full of performance hints, pictures, technical specifications, etc. The 928 is a great car, and if you've found this page because you own one, then you know what I mean. They are comfortable, luxurious, sports cars. They excel on long trips and in daily traffic. They have around 250-400 horsepower depending on year, and have a top speed around of 150-180 MPH, again, depending on year. They were the fastest production car in the world for a good number of years. They originally sold for between $40,000-$90,000 from 1979 to 1993. Now they are available for far, far, less. Current prices range between $5,000 to $50,000 depending on year and condition. (Price Sheet-Click Here) What you are actually buying, though, is a collection of very expensive parts. You want to buy one in as good of condition as you can afford, because you don't want to buy a $5,000 car, and spend $10,000 fixing things. Although that combined price is still cheaper than many new cars... A thorough pre-purchase inspection will save you a lot of post-purchase annoyance. If you can afford to replace the old parts, and keep it in good running condition, it is an extremely reliable and fun vehicle. So, with that preface, allow me to share some pictures and links to cool Porsche 928 sites. |

A very clean widebody 928s4 from Florida.
Here is Mark Anderson's racecar, and Tilo's supercharged
racer,
and some shots of Mark mixing it up with the American iron at Laguna
Seca.
Plus a few other 928 racers showing us how it's
done...

Here's another funny image. Except this one is not a joke. Let this be a lesson about what happens when you spend too much time with your 928... |
